Burns began her television career in 1995 when she joined the cast for the Spanish-American teen sitcom Out of the Blue (1995-1996). Later, she starred in Baywatch: Hawaii, the sequel to the Baywatch action-packed series. Burns left Baywatch due to her first pregnancies.
